This vintage 1930s floral slip dress is such a rare and incredible find— these are a holy grail item for vintage lingerie collectors, but truthfully are so special for anyone. It's draped on the bias for the most flattering fit— the bias cut clings to the curves no matter your size, with natural stretch. Godets at the hem further emphasize this slight mermaid shape created by the bias-cut. And the delicate floral print is just so romantic. The lace details are incredible— the quality of this lace is unmatched in modern clothing. I love the ultra feminine gathering at chest, complete with aa bow appliqué, and the shoulders have a sort of ribbon effect. With the right undergarments you can definitely wear this out as a dress if you don't mind a touch of sheerness (if you do just layer a slip or half-slip under).

Measurements: Note that the bias cut means that this will fit a range of sizes really well.  This will fit like an X-Small, Small, possibly Medium depending on proportions. The below measurements are taken laid flat with no stretch considered.
Chest: 33" laid flat, with extra room due to gathering at chest
Waist: 28.5" laid flat (+ additional stretch from bias)
Hips: 37" laid flat (+ additional stretch from bias)
Length: 55.5" from shoulder to hem

Great vintage condition. There are some minor pinholes at the lace neckline, which definitely get lost in the openwork and intricacy of the lace. Keep in mind this piece is about 100 years old. Happy w/ quality of second purchase
I recieved a beautiful copy of Ethan Smith's 2nd Edition (1825) of View of the Hebrews. This edition includes the fascinating Quetzalcoatl... aka "Christ in America" content that I was looking to study. ***E. Smith's belief that biblical prophesy and cultural "evidences" prove that the Native American tribes found by the Europeans (Gentiles) were descended from the lost Tribes of Isreal. This narrative is later expounded on in the 1830 Book of Mormon*** I re-ordered this book in paperback version. This softcover version was not a photocopy of the original book as was the case when I ordered the hardcover version some time ago. Fantastic readable quality this time around! Original Hardcover Review: Poor photocopied pages. I opened the nice hard cover... I can read the words- but the book's pages are messy in a gross, unthoughtful way. The publisher didn't care about quality of pages at all- Quality ended once I opened the pleasant hardcover binding.

Very interesting reading.
Very interesting reading. He gives a very different picture (and more accurate picture, I'm sure) of the Indians in North and South Americas than what we've been told in our history books. They could very well be the lost tribes of Israel.
