If you have a pull-out drawer for your keyboard and mouse, like I do, it's even better. I can now position the stand (and MacBook) at the exact distance I want from my eyes. The only reason I am giving this product 4-stars is that it is not perfectly stable. There is a slight wobble during typing. It is not extreme enough to really get in the way of use but it certainly isn't a perfect product like some people claim. Perhaps they were using lighter or smaller laptops.
