You take sand paper and clean the contacts and they work fine again. I feel if the material on the charging port is made with stainless steel and the contacts on the grinders themselves are larger, I would have given this a 5 star. Even As it stands, I would purchase these again. I have several bad experiences buying manual grinders that last about a month and break. These are High Quality, but need to upgrade the contacts.

After going through several cheaper grinder sets that never held a charge, struggled to grind properly, and eventually broke, I decided to invest in a higher-quality set. The grind quality is excellent, the operation is smooth and quiet, and they don’t sound like they’re straining like our previous sets did.
