The mid-indigo Maridenim Somasti cotton denim dress has a slim, A-line fit and features the Unikko pattern. The sleeveless dress has an O-neck, a metal zipper in the back seam with a long grosgrain ribbon puller, and side seam pockets.
Marimekko Maridenim products are designed following the Jeans Redesign guidelines of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the world´s leading network on circular economy. According to the guidelines, the denim material is monomaterial cotton (80% organic and 20% recycled cotton) with no elastane. Marimekko Maridenim is made with minimal use of hardware, including removable buttons and no rivets. The washing, finishing, and use of chemicals also follow the guidelines. To produce the products' colours, patterns, and desired feel, we use laser technology, E-Flow steam washing, and ozone washing instead of traditional stone washing.
Maridenim products have a special finishing and patina, giving each piece a unique, distinctive character. This feature is part of the charm and appeal of Maridenim products.
