This wonderfully interesting houseplant is really stunning with its dark, forest green and white flecked variegation - we really love it! This Dieffenbachia is also known as the Dumb Cane plant- for a fascinating reason! This houseplant produces a poison in its leaves that can temporarily numb the vocal cords if it’s eaten - hence the name Dumb Cane!  Don’t feel intimidated - just don’t eat it! It’s an absolutely gorgeously stylish houseplant - and it brings to your home the style of a similar plant such as variegated Monstera while being a little easier to care for - it doesn’t require such constant humidity. It really is a show-stopper with its wonderful variegation - there is almost nothing like it even amongst other large-leaved variegated houseplants. You can feed once a month during spring and summer - we do vegan, organic plant food!

Is it suitable if I have pets?
No, unfortunately, it can be toxic to pets.
