Spathiphyllum 'Sensation Variegata', commonly known as the Variegated Giant Peace Lily, is a striking cultivar admired for highly variegated leaves and it's potential for growth. As one of the largest peace lily varieties, it can reach heights of up to 1.5 meters, making it a prominent feature in any space.

Native to: Spathiphyllum species are native to tropical regions of the Americas and southeastern Asia. The 'Sensation Variegata' cultivar, developed for its distinctive variegated foliage and larger size, shares this tropical heritage, thriving in environments that mimic the warm, humid conditions of its origins.

Water: This plant prefers consistently moist soil. Watering is recommended when the top 2–3 centimeters of the soil feel dry to the touch. It's crucial to avoid waterlogging, as excessive moisture can lead to root rot. The plant may exhibit drooping leaves when it requires watering, which typically recover shortly after hydration. Using filtered or dechlorinated water is advisable, as 'Sensation Variegata' can be sensitive to chemicals commonly found in tap water.

Light: 'Sensation Variegata' tolerates low light conditions but flourishes in medium to bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it can scorch the leaves. Positioning the plant near east or north-facing windows with filtered light is ideal.

Humidity: Originating from tropical climates, 'Sensation Variegata' prospers in high humidity environments. Placing the plant near a humidifier, grouping it with other plants or using a pebble tray with water can help maintain adequate humidity levels, promoting healthy foliage and overall plant health.

Temperature: The optimal temperature range for 'Sensation Variegata' is between 18–27°C. It is sensitive to cold drafts and should be kept away from temperatures below 15°C to prevent stunted growth or damage.

good stuff
I like this sun block. It doesn't sting my eyes and it seems to be effective. I am out in the sun a lot and I don't burn with this on, so it must work. It's not greasy so I use it under make up.

Easy to apply, neutral smell, and lasts long
I usually hate sunscreen, but this brand is acceptable. It doesn't leave a terrible waxy feeling on your skin, and it's easy to apply on your face. Also, it doesn't have an overpowering smell, which is nice.

Dry-touch but still uncomfortable to wear
It didn't rub in like regular sunblock, I suppose because the of the 'dry-touch'. But I could still feel it on my skin and was a little bit itchy. If you continue to rub it actually kind of peels away-then obviously negating putting it on in the first place. :(

It is a great sunscreen.
I love it, because it is no greasy and it feels like you don't have it on your face. It is a little expensive comparing to others but I think it is a good choice.

Have used it for years
One of the the best on the market because it is a broad spectrum sunscreen protecting against both UVA and UVB rays. But as with all lotions it must be reapplied after several hours.
