Whilst its care needs are mostly similar to its laid back cousin, this ZZ is less tolerant of shade due to the variegation. But as long as you let it get some sun, it'll be happy. Light
Make sure your variegated ZZ Plant gets some direct sun; due to its high level of variegation, it is less tolerant of low light levels. If you notice new growth has less variegation, you may need to move it to a brighter spot.

The perfect plant for forgetful indoor gardeners, the ZZ Plant likes to dry out fully between waters; make sure it has less water in shadier locations, and water less frequently in winter too.
