In mid summer the plants will begin forming a bushy red flower cluster at the top of each plant. I've seen Cardinal Basil flowers used in summer bridal bouquets and arrangements.The flowers don't run to seed quickly so constant deadheading is not necessary. The large leaves makes this an excellent choice for Pesto and other recipes.Basil grows best in full sun and well drained soil. Cardinal Basil is an excellent variety for container gardens where the burgundy stems and red flower clusters add texture and interest to mixed plantings.
Each seed packet contains 45 seeds. Your seeds will come packaged in a simple brown kraft paper envelope. Complete growing instructions included with each order. All seeds are harvested and cleaned by hand. There may be small bits of chaff mixed in with the seeds.

Perfect shelf for the office

When we bought our house it came with an office space and this little wall space in between the cabinets lol. We had no idea what to do with it BUT our monitors took up so much room that we couldn't put anything on the desk really. Then we got the idea of a floating shelf and well this was perfect! Matches and really looks like it came with the house haha. It has held up and now I get my office supplies and can look at pics!
