Habitat: Yucca rostrata thrives in arid and semi-arid regions with well-draining soil. It's commonly found in rocky desert landscapes and foothills.

Growth: This yucca species is known for its distinctive growth habit. It forms a single trunk or may develop multiple trunks over time. The leaves are stiff, narrow, and can reach lengths of 1 to 2 feet. They radiate from the trunk in a rosette pattern, giving the plant a unique and striking appearance.

Size: In optimal conditions, Yucca rostrata can grow to be a medium to large-sized plant. Mature specimens can reach heights of 10 to 15 feet, with a spread of 3 to 5 feet. The trunk can become quite tall, and the overall shape is often described as a "palm tree" or "candelabra."

Cold Tolerance: One of the notable features of Yucca rostrata is its ability to tolerate cold temperatures. It is hardy in USDA hardiness zones 5 through 10. I will skeptical when buying these because I have a pitbull bulldog that likes to chew holes in every toy.
