The yarn is produced in Italy. Our supplier guarantees that the wool does not come from sheep that have been subjected to mulesing.

The yarn is not superwashed, which means that the wool still retains its good insulating and absorbent properties. Read more about superwash here. Hand wash or 30 degree wool wash is recommended. Never wash hand-knitted garments in a laundry bag, as this can lead to felting.
