Sizes

Betty Blue Lavender (L. angustifolia) A tidy English Lavender with erect flower stalks that do not splay. Excellent for cutting.
Folgate Lavender (L. angustifolia) One of the preferred but harder to source English Lavenders for oil production.
Hidcote Lavender (L. angustifolia) A premium and very hardy English Lavender with dark purple flowers and fine essential oil. Often considered one of the best culinary varieties.
Gros Bleu Lavender (L. x intermedia) A tall true Lavandin selection that is more refined than Grosso.
Grosso Lavender (L. x intermedia) The classic long stem field variety from France! Very popular in zones 5 - 7 in Canada.
Munstead Lavender (L. angustifolia) This is the hardiest lavender proven over time in many zone 3 gardens. A compact plant with short flower stems.... but all the classic fragrance!
Phenomenal Lavender (L. x intermedia) The hardiest of the long stem oil lavandins, suitable for zone 5. Very beautiful dark blue purple flowers. The price includes royalties.
Purple Bouquet Lavender (L. angustifolia) Exceptional English Lavender with very dark purple classic lavender blooms.
Royal Velvet Lavender (L. angustifolia)  Top variety for cut flowers, with extra-long flowers that have a two-tone velvety quality that is completely unique among cultivars.

SHIPPING INFO:

We are focusing on our local, pick-up customers going forward and will not be shipping trays.

SAGE GARDEN PRODUCTION INFO:

Sage Garden uses all organic growing practices, including the use of beneficial soil microorganisms, OMRI organic soils, compost-based fertilizer and biological pest management.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Lavender plants are cutting grown. We have sourced named stock material from a variety of reputable suppliers, however, due to naming variance within the industry and the possibility of stock suppliers using the same name for different plants we recommend testing smaller plots of any given variety before field-planting in volume. Significant variation among named cultivars is possible; since stock material for propagation does not grow out to maturity (at our greenhouses) in the same way field plants do, it is not possible for Sage Garden to guarantee the characteristics of a given variety.

Just ok - too thick to apply evenly
Style: SPF 50, Size: 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Just ok - very thick, so difficult to apply evenly. I use this for outdoor cycling and it works, but it's so thick that it tends to clump instead of smoothly covering the skin.

Doesn't go on greasy. Doesn't stink. Don't get sunburnt wearing it.

Excellent mineral sunscreen for sensitive skin.
Size: 3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Set name: Tube - 3 oz.
I’ve been using the Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen, and it’s become a staple in my routine. As someone with sensitive skin, I really appreciate that it’s fragrance-free and uses zinc oxide, providing great protection without causing any irritation or breakouts. It goes on smoothly, isn't overly greasy, and the water resistance holds up well for outdoor activities. The smart cap technology is a nice touch, too. Highly recommended if you’re looking for effective, non-irritating sun protection.

No chemicals that will be harmful!
Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 2), Set name: Tube - 5 oz. 2-Pack
Ordered this mineral sunscreen looking for something simple and effective, and it’s been a solid option so far. The zinc oxide formula is the main reason I went with it. It doesn’t rely on the same chemical ingredients found in a lot of other sunscreens, which is a big plus if you’re trying to avoid that. It feels like a cleaner option overall. Coverage is good. It spreads evenly and holds up well, even with some water exposure. I’ve used it outdoors for extended periods, and it does its job without needing constant reapplication. It does leave a slight white cast at first, which is pretty typical with mineral sunscreens, but it fades in as you rub it in. Not completely invisible, but manageable. After a few uses, what stood out most is that it doesn’t have a strong smell and doesn’t irritate the skin. It just works without a lot of extras. Compared to standard chemical sunscreens, this feels more straightforward and less harsh, especially for regular use. For the price, it’s a great value. You’re getting strong sun protection without the added ingredients some people try to avoid. If you’re looking for a mineral-based sunscreen that’s effective and a bit cleaner in formulation, this is a solid choice.

Great mineral sunscreen that actually works
Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Set name: Tube - 5 oz.
Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 has become my daily go-to. It goes on smooth, doesn’t leave a weird white cast like some mineral sunscreens, and gives solid protection. I like that it’s 100% mineral with no harsh chemicals and has organic aloe vera in it, so my skin feels hydrated instead of dried out. No greasy feeling, no strong scent, and it holds up well even when I sweat a bit. Been using it for a few weeks now and it performs exactly how I want. Small bottle but a little goes a long way. Definitely recommend if you want a simple, effective mineral option.
